My Foodie Adventures Taquiza
My daughter is in town this week and I asked her where she would like to eat. She missed going to this traditional Mexican taquería crafting authentic tacos & street fare since 2014. Their signature blue masa is stone-ground daily using USDA organic & non-gmo corn from the Midwest. They hand press their masa into homemade tortillas and totopos. Go to their 2 locations in Miami Beach and try them out!
Nostalgia Starsky and Hutch TV series (1975-1979)
Started thinking about the actor John Saxon (RIP 2020) who played many characters on TV and film. In the second season of S & H, during one episode, dancers are discovered strangled and with their necks punctured, Starsky and Hutch head out to put the bite on the blood-sucking freak played by Saxon behind the series of vampire-style slayings. Saxon played the vampire eerily well. BONUS: A young Suzanne Somers appears in this episode. Anyway, I just saw this episode this past week. You can see it here!
